The Intermediary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"astor-article-standfirst\">The inventory-backed asset based lending facility refinanced existing debt and released working capital for growth.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/theintermediary.co.uk\/2026\/04\/shawbrook-and-aldermore-renew-sdka-funding-lines\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"91163\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Shawbrook<\/a> has provided Glasgow Distillery Company with an \u00a311m inventory-backed asset based lending facility to refinance existing debt and release working capital for growth.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the company invested in expanding its whisky portfolio, it needed a funding structure suited to the long-term nature of whisky production.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shawbrook structured the facility against eligible maturing Scotch whisky inventory.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The funding refinanced previous arrangements and creates room for further investment and future growth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Noble &amp;
