Arnsberg, a German recycled fibre-based cartonboard mill with 230,000 tonnes annual capacity.<\/li>\n<li>The acquisition will transfer all Arnsberg employees to MM and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, pending approvals.<\/li>\n<li>MM expects the mill\u2019s integration to strengthen production flexibility, supply security, and its cartonboard product and service offering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>MM Board &amp; Paper has signed an agreement with the R.D.M. Group to acquire the operating business of the R.D.M. Arnsberg recycled fibre-based cartonboard mill in Germany through an asset deal.<\/p>\n<p>The Arnsberg mill has an annual production capacity of about 230,000 tonnes of recycled fibre-based cartonboard and is particularly specialised in the production of liner products, with the transaction representing an investment in MM&#8217;s core business and complementing its existing production network.<\/p>\n<p>By integrating the Arnsberg mill into its established industrial platform in Germany, comprising several cartonboard mills and packaging plants, MM expects to realise significant synergies that should facilitate the turnaround of the mill, while the acquisition is expected to increase production flexibility, improve security of supply, and further broaden the product and service offering for customers.<\/p>\n<p>All employees at the Arnsberg mill will be transferred to MM, with the purchase price not disclosed and completion expected during the Q4 2026, subject to customary closing conditions including applicable regulatory approvals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Packaging 230,000-tonne recycled fibre mill to join MM&#8217;s industrial platform with all employees transferred.
