Welsh Labour MP Caroyln Harris supported Starmer’s new UK-EU traide deal as she pointed out that they are the UK’s biggest tradint partner despite Brexit<\/a> coming into effect five years ago. She argued that the new deal will remove barriers holding back British businesses.<\/p>\n

Rob began: “Nigel Farage<\/a>, who is capitalising on this no doubt, says that this is the end of the fishing industry.”<\/p>\n

She declared: “It’s nonsense, absolute nonesense and anyone who listens to Nigel Farage<\/a>, the rhetoric will always be negative and talking down the country.<\/p>\n

“The EU are our biggest trading partner. Since Brexit<\/a>, our biggest exports to the EU have gone down 21%, that’s nearly a quarter, and our imports have gone down by 7%.<\/p>\n

“Something has gone really badly wrong and that is queues of lorries at the border with food rotting away because it can’t get across the border.<\/p>\n

“Poeple who are not able to do business with Europe because of the exemptions that are being put into place. This is a good deal for the UK.”<\/p>\n

However, many viewers couldn’t help but disagree, as one user fumed: “No it’s not a bloody win Carolyn!
