\n\tEXCLUSIVE: <\/strong>Ryan Gosling<\/a> and his Open Invite producing partner Jessie Henderson<\/a> are in early development on a live-action Flintstones feature project at Warner Bros<\/a>, we hear, one that would center on a grown-up Bamm-Bamm<\/a> Rubble.<\/p>\n

\n\tRight now we hear the duo are looking for a writer.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe first time Bamm-Bamm went from child with a banging club to grownup was in the 1971-1972 CBS Saturday morning animated series The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show, in which he was a teenager, dating Pebbles, attending Bedrock High School and landing his first job. He and Pebbles also formed a band, the Bedrock Rockers. Fred and Wilma Flintstone and Barney and Betty Rubble made cameos in the series.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Flintstones<\/a>, the early 1960s Hanna-Barbera animated series that is in the Warner Bros wheelhouse, has been adapted to the screen as live-action twice before: 1994\u2019s The Flinstones and 2000\u2019s The Flinstones in Viva Rock Vegas; combined, the pics grossed $401 million at the global box office. The 1994 installment starred John Goodman as Fred, Rick Moranis as Barney, Elizabeth Perkins as Wilma and Rosie O\u2019Donnell as Betty. Viva Rock Vegas rebooted the cast with Mark Addy as Fred, Stephen Baldwin as Barney, Kristen Johnston as Wilma and Jane Krakowski as Betty.<\/p>\n

\n\tGosling and Henderson are producers on the upcoming romantic drama Love of Your Life from director Rachel Morrison, starring Margaret Qualley, Aaron Pierre, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Gabriel Basso and Catherine Keener. The pic is world premiering at next month at the Toronto Film Festival.<\/p>\n

\n\tGosling had a massive blockbuster this year in Amazon MGM Studios\u2019 Project Hail Mary, which he starred in and produced. The pic directed by Christopher Miller and Phil Lord grossed a massive $684M global worldwide. An awards campaign is in the works. It was also revealed at Comic-Con that Gosling is reteaming with director Shawn Levy after their upcoming Star Wars: Starfighter on Marvel Studios\u2019 2028 reboot of Ghost Rider.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs has been widely reported, Gosling, Margot Robbie, director Greta Gerwig and Mattel remain in talks for a Barbie sequel with Warner Bros, after that 2023 pic grossed $1.44 billion to become the studio\u2019s highest-grossing movie of all time. Gosling also starred in and produced Universal\u2019s David Leitch-directed action title The Fall Guy.<\/p>\n
