A new cement import facility at Gladstone Dock will be built over the next year, with the aim of growing the UK construction sector and helping to reduce carbon emissions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The project is a partnership between port operator <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/the-peel-group\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"Peel Ports GroupLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Peel Ports Group<\/a> and cement firm Medcem.
