Happy to.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"12\" class=\"css-1ood0zq emevuu60\">The royal family rejected their half-in, half-out approach to royal work, leading the couple to step back from their senior working royal roles completely and move to the U.S. in 2020.<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"13\" class=\"css-1ood0zq emevuu60\">A source close to Meghan remains concerned about how she\u2019ll fare in Britain this fall. \u201cMy biggest concern is the level of media attention she\u2019ll face in the U.K.,\u201d the insider told People. \u201cI\u2019m worried for her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"14\" class=\"css-1ood0zq emevuu60\">An ally added that Meghan, Harry, and their children will be private citizens this time, and the Duchess of Sussex\u2019s network is better prepared and \u201cstronger now than it ever was to protect her\u2014to protect them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"15\" class=\"css-1ood0zq emevuu60\">The move isn\u2019t permanent, either, multiple sources stressed, describing the couple\u2019s plans as fluid. \u201cIt\u2019s not necessarily a forever thing,\u201d one insider said.<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"16\" class=\"css-1ood0zq emevuu60\">They have not bought property in the U.K. and will retain their Montecito home.<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"17\" class=\"css-1ood0zq emevuu60\">Security may also influence the duration of their move, sources said, noting that the family does not have police protection in the U.K., and private security cannot carry firearms there.
