Even residents will be denied access to driving in the area. <\/p>\n<p>Road closures will apply from 6am on Sunday (August 30) to 6am on Tuesday (September 1), while parking restrictions will come into effect from 11:59pm on Saturday (August 29). <\/p>\n<p>There will also be widespread disruption across the Underground network too as TfL prepares for millions to descend onto the streets of Notting Hill. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/2231355482...jpeg\" width=\"6702\" height=\"4468\" alt=\"&lt;p&gt;LONDON, ENGLAND - AUGUST 25: Revellers take part in the Notting Hill Carnival on August 25, 2025 in London, England. Reasonable suggestions include walking from Paddington or Maida Vale. <\/p>\n<p>Ladbroke Grove will be closed all day, while other stations may operate as exit-only from 11am. <\/p>\n<p>This includes Notting Hill Gate, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.standard.co.uk\/topic\/westbourne-park\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Westbourne Park<\/a>, Holland Park, Queensway, and Royal Oak. <\/p>\n<p>Carnival-goers are advised to check before travelling as TfL regularly close stations if they become too busy during carnival periods. <\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-fDZSWB knikRp\">All the Tube stations affected by Notting Hill Carnival<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ladbroke Grove: Closed all day <\/li>\n<li>Latimer Road: May close for short periods throughout the day, station shuts at 11pm <\/li>\n<li>Notting Hill Gate: No entry from 11am &#8211; 6pm, District\/Circle lines will not stop <\/li>\n<li>Westbourne Park: No entry from 11am <\/li>\n<li>Holland Park: No entry from 11am &#8211; 3pm, closes at 3pm <\/li>\n<li>Queensway: No entry from 11am &#8211; 6pm.  <\/li>\n<li>Royal Oak: No entry from 11am &#8211; 6pm, closes at 6pm <\/li>\n<li>Shepherds Bush: No ticket facilities or down escalator after 4pm  <\/li>\n<li>Kensal Green: Expect long queues  <\/li>\n<li>Kensal Rise: Chamberlayne Road entrance closes at 6pm  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you\u2019re planning to travel by bus, it\u2019s worth checking diversions ahead of time. Several routes have been affected by road closures.
