Spoilers for Wednesday’s episode of Celebrity MasterChef follow.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Celebrity MasterChef viewers seem to be split down the middle over the latest elimination. YouTuber Tom Simons, better known as TommyInnit, was sent home by Grace Dent and Giorgio Locatelli.<\/p>\n

His exit leaves actor Donna Preston, Gladiators star Emily Steel, dancer Eric Underwood and EastEnders legend Nitin Ganatra to battle it out as the second heat of the series continues.<\/p>\n

Tom was seen struggling in tonight’s challenges, and his dessert – waffles – underwhelmed the judges, despite some praise from special guest Zoe Ball.<\/p>\n

As viewers took to social media at the end of the episode, it seems they were divided over the outcome.<\/p>\n

On X, one said<\/a>: “Awww gutted Tom has gone he was my favourite”, while another agreed<\/a>: “Tom wuz robbed.”<\/p>\n

Another Tom enthusiast wrote<\/a>: “Tom\u2019s hilarious – first his chili and now the waffles. This lot are very funny #celebritymasterchef.”<\/p>\n

However, one viewer joked<\/a>: “Tom wouldn\u2019t even pass GCSE Food Tech.” Over on Bluesky, one commentator<\/a> was “really hoping Tom goes home”.<\/p>\n

Last week’s first heat resulted in the eliminations<\/a> of Jay McGuinness and Jason Mohammed, leaving Emily Campbell, Joe Pasquale and Shakira Khan to progress.<\/p>\n

Next week, the third heat will see Paralympic athlete Lauren Stedman, broadcaster Melvin Odoom, Corrie icon Sue Cleaver, The Saturdays’ Una Healy and YouTuber Max Fosh face-off.<\/p>\n

Cleaver, it seems, ran into difficulty while filming her episodes – and accidentally sliced through her right index finger<\/a> as she chopped up vegetables with a Japanese knife.<\/p>\n

“I nearly cut my finger off, and it\u2019s only day one. I\u2019m panicking a bit,” she’ll be seen saying.<\/p>\n
