Ahead of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4<\/a>‘s open beta this weekend, game pages and pre-orders for the Switch 2 version have gone live.<\/p>\n

This includes the estimated file size, which is subject to change between now and the game’s October launch. According to Nintendo’s official eShop listing, the “standard edition” of the game requires around 84.9 GB<\/strong> of space.<\/p>\n

Again, this may not reflect the size on release, and doesn’t factor in future game updates for multiplayer and other modes.<\/p>\n

As for the open beta, if you’re planning to join the fight on the Switch 2 this weekend, the eShop listing says it will require 38.7 GB<\/strong> of space on your system. If we hear any significant updates about the game’s file size, we’ll let you know.<\/p>\n

The open beta takes place between 28th August and 1st September and is a free download on the eShop. You can download it now, and it also comes with the playable campaign mission ‘Entrenched’ which you can play right now. Earlier this week, it was reported Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 would be available in-store as a code-in-a-box release. Retail listings for this are now beginning to appear online<\/a>.<\/p>\n
