Fire crews have descended on a house in Didsbury after a blaze broke out in the basement this evening.<\/p>\n
Three fire engines were deployed to the property on Didsbury Park at around 6.51pm. Pictures from the scene show firefighters tending to the fire.<\/p>\n
The fire has since been extinguished. Crews remain at the scene.<\/p>\n
Click here<\/a> to get the biggest stories straight to your inbox in our Daily Newsletter<\/strong><\/p>\n A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: \u201cShortly after 6:51pm this evening (Thursday 27 August), three fire engines from Withington<\/a> and Wythenshawe<\/a> fire stations were called to reports of a fire in the basement of a house on Didsbury<\/a> Park in Manchester.<\/p>\n Fire crews attended the scene on Didsbury Park(Image: Supplied)<\/p>\n \u201cCrews arrived quickly at the scene.
