\t\t\t\tWest Ham<\/a> are interested in Al-Shabab midfielder Josh Brownhill along with Birmingham<\/a> City and Wrexham<\/a>, according to TEAMtalk<\/a>. <\/p>\n

West Ham<\/a> are being linked with a swoop for the former Burnley<\/a> man before the end of the transfer window. WHUFC have until the deadline on Tuesday night to complete any final bits of incoming<\/a> or outgoing business<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Brownhill, 30, is under contract in Saudi Arabia until 2027 so his long-term future in the Middle East is up in the air at this moment in time. He has made 37 appearances for Al-Shabab in all competitions to date and he has chipped in with seven goals and three assists. <\/p>\n

In this latest update regarding his situation, TEAMtalk<\/a> claim West Ham<\/a> are keen on a move for the Warrington-born man along with Birmingham<\/a> City and Wrexham<\/a>. Southampton<\/a> and Wolves<\/a> have also been mentioned as potential suitors, along with Premier League new boys Hull City<\/a> and Coventry City<\/a>. <\/p>\n

West Ham<\/a> are eyeing an immediate promotion from the Championship<\/a> this season under the guidance of head coach Nuno Espirito Santo<\/a>. They have made a slow start though and are back in league action<\/a> this weekend away at Watford<\/a> as they look to bounce back from their loss to Charlton Athletic<\/a>. <\/p>\n

West Ham<\/a> could see Brownhill as someone to bolster their midfield department. If he joined WHUFC, he would give them more competition and depth in the middle of the park. <\/p>\n

He is an experienced operator and knows what it takes to get out of the second tier. Brownhill would inject useful quality into the Hammers\u2019 squad and would be a useful individual to have in and around the dressing room. <\/p>\n

Brownhill was a hit during his time at Burnley<\/a> from 2020 to 2025 and was a key player for the Clarets. He scored 32 goals in 211 matches during his days at Turf Moor before Al-Shabab came calling. <\/p>\n

The ex-Manchester United academy man broke into the first-team at Preston<\/a> North End as a youngster. He then left Deepdale to spend four years with Bristol City<\/a>. <\/p>\n

However, he is likely to be on big wages at Al-Shabab so the Hammers would need to fork out money to get him. In addition, there appears to be plenty of competition for his services from the likes of Birmingham<\/a> City, Wrexham<\/a>, Southampton<\/a>, Wolves<\/a>, Coventry City<\/a> and Hull City<\/a>. <\/p>\n
