A Harry Potter<\/a> actor has been rushed to hospital and undergone “major surgery.\u201d Nick Moran, best known for his role as Scabior in the popular film franchise, uploaded a snap from intensive care and can be seen in a neck brace.<\/p>\n

The 55-year-old gave a thumbs up to the camera as a friend shared an update with his fans. Fellow actor Terry Stone informed his followers: “News update for you all on Nick Moran. He\u2019s had major surgery and is recovering in the ICU he\u2019s giving us the thumbs up but still needs your support, prayers & love.”<\/p>\n

Many fans rushed to the comments section to wish Nick a speedy recovery. One person typed, “Wishing strength and quick recovery xxxxx.” A second also commented, “Good luck Nick love to you and your family x.” A third also said, “Looks and sounds positive so fingers crossed.”<\/p>\n

Nick appeared in the final two films of the Harry Potter franchise as the snatcher Scabior. He’s also starred in the British classic Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels alongside Jason Statham, Vinnie Jones and singer Sting.<\/p>\n

It is not known why Nick was rushed to the hospital. The English actor and filmmaker has also appeared in New Blood, Another Life, The Musketeer, Nemesis, and Boogie Man.<\/p>\n

The Hollywood<\/a> actor was born in east London and made his film debut in 1990 in Buddy’s Song alongside Roger Daltrey and Chesney Hawkes.<\/p>\n

The news comes after HBO confirmed that an upcoming TV adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s beloved wizarding saga is coming to our screens.<\/p>\n

HBO has confirmed Gardiner – who has also worked on ‘His Dark Materials’ – will be at the helm for the upcoming reboot series based on JK Rowling’s boy wizard books.<\/p>\n

Mark Mylod\u2014who has also worked on ‘Succession’, ‘Game of Thrones’, ‘The Last of Us’, and ‘Entourage’\u2014will executive produce and direct multiple episodes.<\/p>\n

The show will release over a decade, with each season based on one of the seven books, and Warner Bros Dicovery CEO David Zaslav previously said the first is expected to drop in 2026.<\/p>\n

The studio’s logline states: \u201cThe series will be a faithful adaptation of the beloved \u2018Harry Potter\u2019 book series by author and executive producer J.K. Rowling.<\/p>\n
