It\u2019s time for another bi-annual article looking at the darker side of our digital future, with more than 10 titles poised to be delisted or disabled over the coming months.<\/p>\n

As always, I\u2019m compiling all upcoming delistings, server shutdowns, and general disruptions you should be aware of across PS5 and PS4 for September and October.<\/p>\n

There are a few games being fully delisted this time, but most of the titles this time are simply losing online support.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what you need to know about:<\/p>\n

1047 Games is making some adjustments to the PlayStation versions of Splitgate: Arena Reloaded<\/a> and Empulse<\/a>, as it deals with plunging player counts.<\/p>\n

While both titles will remain playable, dedicated servers will be disabled and replaced with peer-to-peer support. Future development will also cease, meaning no new content packs or updates.<\/p>\n

PS4 rails shooter Railbreak<\/strong><\/a>, meanwhile, is poised to be delisted and replaced by PS5 remake Railbreak DX<\/strong><\/a>. It\u2019s unclear whether there\u2019ll be an upgrade path for existing owners.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, a slew of titles will see their online services end, including Hawked<\/strong><\/a>, Mega Zombie<\/strong><\/a>, GRID Legends<\/a>, and Firewall Ultra<\/a>. Those with single player modes will remain playable offline.<\/p>\n

The PS4 version of Tower of Fantasy\u2019s<\/a> in-game purchases will end on 22nd September, with the game taken offline entirely on 20th October. You can still transfer your progress to the PS5 version, as well as PC and mobile.<\/p>\n

Sociable Soccer 25\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> online services will end on 28th September, while Fortnite: Rocket Racing<\/a> will be removed from Epic\u2019s battle royale as a selectable mode at some point in October.<\/p>\n

Finally, Call of Duty Warzone<\/a> will be discontinued upon the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4\u2019s<\/a> Season 1. It\u2019s unclear exactly when that gets underway, but the new game launches on 23rd October, so it\u2019ll happen around then.<\/p>\n

So that\u2019s everything you need to know about for September and October.<\/p>\n
