The Sydney Morning Herald reported that prosecutors asked the judge to convict the Irishman in absentia.<\/p>\n

Judge Janine Lacy convicted Gallagher on all three charges and issued a warrant for his arrest.<\/p>\n
New South Wales Police have issued the warrant, asking anyone with information on Gallagher\u2019s whereabouts not to approach him and to inform authorities.<\/p>\n
Australian media reported that the reality TV star\u2019s alleged victim, his then-partner and Below Deck Mediterranean castmate Gael Cameron, was in court yesterday ready to give evidence.<\/p>\n

The latest season of Below Deck Mediterranean, filmed before the incident took place, is currently airing in New Zealand and features Gallagher balancing his role as bosun aboard a superyacht with family commitments involving Cameron and their infant son.<\/p>\n
Following news of the Boxing Day incident, it has also been revealed that Gallagher is also subject to a bench warrant issued in Ireland. <\/p>\n
