They had been registered with UBS and Wells Fargo before most recently affiliating with Raymond James’ independent advisor division, Raymond James Financial Services in 2022, according to their BrokerCheck records.

Dickerson Jackson was advised on the transaction by FP Transitions.

“What impressed us about Dickerson Jackson & Associates is the discipline and care behind the team’s approach,” said Wealth Enhancement CEO Jeff Dekko. “Their commitment to personalized planning and long-term stewardship aligns closely with what we value at Wealth Enhancement.”

Dickerson and Jackson framed the move as continuity rather than change. “Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of supporting clients through many of life’s most meaningful moments and important financial decisions,” the pair said, highlighting how Wealth Enhancement offers “even more resources and capabilities to support our clients along the way, while preserving the client-centered approach that has always been at the heart of our firm.”

Jim Cahn, Wealth Enhancement’s chief strategy officer, highlighted the newest partner firm’s client focus, adding that the serial acquirer looks forward to “supporting their continued growth as part of our organization.”

The addition pushes Wealth Enhancement’s total client advisory, trust and brokerage assets above $161.4 billion, including previously announced acquisitions still working through integration. The firm reported $160.1 billion in client assets, including $5.5 billion in brokerage assets held through its affiliated broker-dealer, as of July 31.

The Virginia deal is one of several Wealth Enhancement has struck this summer, a run that has taken the firm into genuinely new territory in some cases and deeper into existing markets in others. Last week, Wealth Enhancement extended its acquisition streak into the Pacific Northwest, and separately struck a deal that reunited an Oklahoma advisor with former colleagues in what the firm called a “coming home” transaction. Elsewhere the firm has used acquisitions to establish genuine beachheads, including its debut in Alabama by acquiring a Huntsville RIA built around aerospace and defense clients, and the addition of a Chicago-area practice overseeing roughly $592 million under dividend-growth investors.

The pace tracks with what Echelon Partners documented industrywide in its second-quarter 2026 RIA M&A Deal Report. Echelon found that repeat acquirers dominated the quarter, with 24 firms announcing two or more deals accounting for 62.5% of total volume, up from 55.6% in the first quarter. Wealth Enhancement, backed by TA Associates, Onex Capital and Stone Point, announced seven transactions in the second quarter, ranking among the period’s most active buyers after a comparatively stealthy start to the year.

The Dickerson Jackson deal also lands as Wealth Enhancement itself has become an acquisition target. Private equity firms Carlyle Group and Bain Capital have reportedly emerged as finalists in a process valuing the platform at approximately $7 billion including debt.

From left: Jeff Dickerson and Todd Jackson, veteran advisors at Dickerson Jackson & Associates in Glen Allen, Virginia.…

[3093
51,474,2499,16,15
post-1182977","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-personal-finance","tag-business","tag-finance","tag-personal-finance","tag-uk","tag-united-kingdom
["GET
