Princess Eugenie<\/a> has been close cousins with Prince Harry<\/a> since they were kids, but where does she stand with his brother (and enemy), Prince William<\/a>? It looks like she isn\u2019t taking sides in the brothers\u2019 feud. <\/p>\n

Eugenie hinted that she\u2019s on good terms with William at a garden party at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, May 20, hosted by William and his wife, Kate Middleton. Also in attendance were William and Eugenie\u2019s cousin Zara Tindall; their aunt and uncle Prince Edward and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh; and King Charles<\/a>\u2018 cousin Prince Edward, Duke of Gloucester, and his wife, Birgitte van Deurs Henriksen. <\/p>\n

Eugenie and William\u2019s public appearance together came a month after a source told People<\/a> in April 2025 that Eugenie and Harry are still close despite the former Duke of Sussex\u2019s fallout with William and his father, King Charles. \u201cThe Duke remains close to Princess Eugenie<\/a>. They always have and always will be,\u201d a source told the magazine at the time.<\/p>\n

The report came after Piers Morgan claimed on his talk show Piers Morgan Uncensored that Harry went \u201ccompletely ballistic\u201d at Eugenie for being photographed with Morgan and others at a pub in London. People\u2018s source denied Morgan\u2019s claim. <\/p>\n

As for William and Harry, it doesn\u2019t look like the brothers will reconcile anytime soon. A source told Page Six<\/a> in May 2025 that the brothers haven\u2019t spoken in two years and that their relationship had become so bad that those close to the princes can\u2019t see Harry attending William\u2019s coronation<\/a> when he becomes king. The insider also added that they couldn\u2019t even envision William inviting Harry after his BBC interview in which he blamed Charles for the his fallout with the royal family. \u201cI think it\u2019s done \u2026 I don\u2019t think there\u2019s [any] coming back from that,\u201d the insider said. \u201cBefore the interview, we thought, \u2018Come on William, extend a hand to your brother. But now it seems that Harry hasn\u2019t learned s\u2013t.\u201d<\/p>\n

A source also told Radar Online in May 2025 that Harry and William\u2019s feud has put a strain on his marriage to Kate, who is keen to reconcile with Harry. \u201cWilliam is furious that Harry\u2019s speaking out again and doing interviews \u2013 he\u2019s convinced this isn\u2019t the end of it,\u201d the insider said. \u201cHe\u2019s made it clear to the rest of the family that they should keep their distance from the Sussexes, because anything shared could be turned against them.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source continued, \u201cWilliam doesn\u2019t like having to put his foot down with Kate, but he sees this as necessary to protect everyone. What he\u2019s most worried about is that anything Kate says to Harry could be twisted or resurface later \u2013 especially if there\u2019s another book, or if Meghan<\/a> decides to tell her own side of the story.\u201d<\/p>\n
