Following his meeting with British Prime Minister Andy Burnham, Macron stressed that France and the United Kingdom share a common responsibility for Europe\u2019s future.<\/p>\n

What Macron and Burnham discussed in London<\/p>\n

One of the key topics of the talks on September 3 was strengthening support for Ukraine ahead of the winter period. The sides also discussed the development of bilateral relations, closer ties between the United Kingdom and the European Union, and efforts to counter the illegal smuggling of migrants across the English Channel.<\/p>\n
