Saint Paul\u2019s Market, in Birmingham\u2019s Jewellery Quarter, is celebrating its first birthday this September with five days of food, drink, live entertainment and independent makers, culminating in an artisan market on Saturday 27 September. <\/p>\n
The food hall, which has welcomed over 300k visitors in its first year, officially opened on 25 September 2025 and will mark its anniversary with celebrations running from 23\u201327 September. Highlights include a Midland Press wine tasting on 23 September, live music and birthday celebrations on 25 September, and a Birmingham Artisan Market on 27 September.<\/p>\n
Across the week, visitors can also enjoy DJs, food specials from all eight traders, a special birthday cocktail, Aperol on tap, self-serve Guinness and football screenings on the venue\u2019s huge TV screen.<\/p>\n
Located on Mary Ann Street in Birmingham\u2019s Jewellery Quarter, Saint Paul\u2019s Market brings together eight independent Birmingham kitchens, two bars and 500 seats across two floors in a 10,000 sq ft former industrial warehouse.<\/p>\n
The food hall is home to Colbeh, Soi, Corner Shop, Chancer\u2019s, Tiger Bites Pig, Zindiya, LA-POP and Oak \u2019n\u2019 Roll, offering everything from Persian food cooked over fire and BBQ Thai dishes to Detroit-style pizza, fried chicken, Taiwanese bao, Indian street food, gelato and Vietnamese-inspired coffee and cinnamon buns.<\/p>\n
The venue was created as a collaboration between Liverpool\u2019s Baltic Market, Independent Birmingham and Buddha Belly, with a focus on championing local independent businesses and creating a vibrant destination for the city.<\/p>\n

Alongside its food and drink offering, Saint Paul\u2019s Market regularly hosts live music and DJs, football screenings and a monthly artisan market in collaboration with Birmingham Artisan Markets, supporting local makers and creatives.<\/p>\n
Drinks are equally focused on the local scene, with craft beers from Birmingham breweries, wines from Midland Press and spirits from Spirit of Birmingham, alongside cocktails, boozy slushies and an extensive selection of drinks.<\/p>\n
After a strong first year, the birthday celebrations mark the start of Saint Paul\u2019s Market\u2019s next chapter as it looks to continue growing as a lively, inclusive hub for Birmingham\u2019s local community.<\/p>\n
