\n Oura, the maker of smart wearable \u2060Oura Ring, filed the paperwork for its U.S. initial public offering \u2060on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The \u200cIPO market \u2060is expected to pick up steam after \u200ba \u200bsummer lull. Analysts expect issuers to target the post-Labor Day \u200cwindow \u200bto get ahead of any \u200cuncertainty around \u2060November’s midterm elections.<\/p>\n
Oura, whose \u200cjourney began more than a decade ago in Oulu, Finland, makes a smart ring that \u200btracks key health indicators such as heart rate, sleep \u200bstages \u200cand \u200bphysical activity.<\/p>\n
The ring is now available in over 4,600 retail locations globally, the company said.<\/p>\n
Goldman Sachs<\/a>, Morgan<\/a> \u200cStanley, \u200cJ.P. Morgan, Allen and Co. and BofA Securities are \u2060among the underwriters for the offering.
