Largie Ramazani<\/a> was one of two players to leave Leeds United<\/a> on transfer deadline day.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Willy Gnonto was the other<\/a>, with the Italian winger joining Serie A outfit Fiorentina on loan.<\/p>\n

Despite being heavily linked with a return to Valencia throughout the summer, Ramazani ended up making the move to Burnley, initially on loan. However, the Clarets have an obligation to buy for around \u00a36.5million<\/a> should he end up making a certain number of appearances.<\/p>\n

In a recent interview that went on Burnley\u2019s social media channels, the Belgian winger made an emotional admission regarding his former employers.<\/p>\n

During our promotion-winning campaign in 2024\/25, Ramazani made 29 Championship appearances for Leeds. Just seven of those were starts.<\/p>\n

If it were up to the majority of the fanbase, he would\u2019ve featured far more often.<\/p>\n

Despite his limited game time, Ramazani endeared himself to the supporters. He still managed to notch six goals and two assists in the league, averaging a goal every 135 minutes. (Sofascore<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Ultimately, Ramazani could never fully convince Daniel Farke to trust him. It\u2019s a shame it didn\u2019t properly work out for the 25-year-old following his \u00a310million<\/a> move to West Yorkshire.<\/p>\n

However, it is clear that Ramazani still looks back on his brief stint with us fondly.<\/p>\n

In a quickfire interview with Ramazani that went out on Burnley\u2019s social media<\/a>, he was asked what his favourite football moment so far was.<\/p>\n

The winger did not hesitate one bit, replying, \u201cPromotion to the Premier League.\u201d<\/p>\n

Largie Ramazani may not be at Burnley for long<\/p>\n

Burnley\u2019s objective this season will be to win promotion back to the Premier League for what feels like the 700th time.<\/p>\n

Ramazani is a quality player who will surely help their promotion push.<\/p>\n

However, their start to the season has not been ideal under their new manager Nicky Hayen.<\/p>\n

They are winless in their first four games, with two draws and two defeats. If Burnley do not get promoted this season, I wouldn\u2019t be surprised to see Ramazani move again. Especially if he has an impressive season in the second tier.<\/p>\n

I believe he\u2019s far too good to spend his prime years in the Championship, and wouldn\u2019t be shocked if a club from La Liga came calling if Burnley don\u2019t go up.<\/p>\n
