squad<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the age of just 14, Ynys M\u00f4n football sensation <strong>Mabli Blackshaw<\/strong> has earned a call-up to the <strong>Wales Under-17 <\/strong>squad.<br \/>It is the latest amazing development in the career of the Holyhead girl who plays for <strong>Caernarfon Town Academy.<\/strong><br \/>Mabli is included in Natalie Lawrence\u2019s Cymru U17 group for an international friendly tournament in Portugal next week, part of preparations for the upcoming UEFA Euro qualifying campaign.<br \/><strong>Iceland<\/strong> will be Cymru\u2019s first opponent at Est\u00e1dio Dr Am\u00e9rico Couto on Tuesday 8 September (KO 3pm).<br \/>Lawrence\u2019s side will then return to Est\u00e1dio Dr Am\u00e9rico Couto to face <strong>Denmark<\/strong> three days later on Friday 11 September (KO 11am) before ending the tournament against the hosts at Complexo Desportivo Cantanhede on Monday 14 September (KO 11am).<br \/>Cymru were drawn in Group B4 for their UEFA WU17 Euro qualifying campaign and will take on North Macedonia, Georgia and Luxembourg later this year.<br \/>Also in the Wales squad are Aston Villa\u2019s <strong>Cadi Griffiths <\/strong>of Trawsfynydd, sister of full senior international striker Mared, and ex-Glan Conwy talent <strong>Ella Jones<\/strong>, now with Liverpool, who has represented the Reds first team in pre-season friendlies.<br \/>The versatile and very pacy <strong>Mabli<\/strong> can play left wing, right wing or central midfield, as well as striker.<br \/>She has already won a handful of caps for the Wales Under-16 side, who she first represented at the age of 12!<br \/>Back in April, she netted twice for Cymru in a 3-1 victory over Albania at the
