West London. My mum [the singer Neneh Cherry<\/a>] moved just off All Saints Road when she was about 14 with Andi Oliver and lots of very cool people, and I\u2019ve lived here pretty much forever. I live with my husband and Italian greyhounds Imani and Tahini. My extended family have a few houses on the street so we have a communal living situation.<\/p>\n

Where do you stay in London? <\/p>\n

My house is kind of like a hotel \u2014 it\u2019s always been the place everyone comes to have dinner or to stay. Everyone calls me like, \u201cDo you have any more rooms free or anywhere I can stay?\u201d I make a great lasagne for them too.<\/p>\n

What are your favourite restaurants?<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a great place on Portobello Road called Portobello Garden \u2014 it\u2019s an Italian restaurant that my husband and I go to all the time. It\u2019s simple, romantic and run by a great family. I also love Tiella Trattoria by Columbia Road. The chef is Dara Klein, who makes seasonal food that changes all the time. <\/p>\n

Which shops do you rely on?<\/p>\n

I love Rellik and One of a Kind for the best designer vintage clothes you\u2019ll find in London. I got one of my wedding dresses in One of a Kind. Then there\u2019s a cute coffee shop on Willesden High Street called Axis, which does matcha flavours like salted date. I love being close to Westfield too for my Space NK bits.<\/p>\n

When I\u2019d just turned 18 and was trying to figure out my own music and writing for myself, I did a lot of fashion assisting and was a runner on a lot of shoots. It made me realise that fashion is actually a lot more cut-throat than music, but it also put me around a lot of creatives who were in the music business. I realised that I wanted to be part of that visual world but not have fashion be my only thing. <\/p>\n

Where would you recommend for a first date? <\/p>\n

Probably The Tabernacle. They do nights on the first Friday of every month, and we go a lot as a family. My parents always go there for date night \u2014 it\u2019s really cute. So I\u2019ll go with my husband or my sister or whoever and they\u2019ll be on their date night just having a dance. <\/p>\n

What would you do if you were mayor for the day? <\/p>\n

There\u2019s a lot I would like to do. I\u2019m passionate about venues and a lot of them are either dying or dead. I often think for a young up-and-coming artist it\u2019s so difficult now. I\u2019d assemble a board of geniuses to work out how we put them back together. How are you supposed to get good if you can\u2019t play all the time?<\/p>\n

Who is the most iconic Londoner in history?<\/p>\n

Ian Wright. I\u2019ve seen him in his car blasting music a few times. And I\u2019ve seen him at Carnival with his kids just having a great time. He\u2019s a sweet, beautiful soul.<\/p>\n

Where do you go and what do you do to have fun?<\/p>\n

I\u2019m always down for an amusement park like Thorpe Park \u2014 it\u2019s my favourite. There\u2019s no ride I won\u2019t go on. The dream would be to shut it down and have no queues. I might not even invite anyone and just go on my own. <\/p>\n

What\u2019s the best thing a cabbie has ever said to you?<\/p>\n

Nine times out of 10, if I\u2019m with my mum<\/a>, London cabbies always recognise her. They\u2019ll be so gassed to meet her and it\u2019s the most wholesome thing.<\/p>\n

Who do you call when you want to have fun? <\/p>\n

Probably my friend Maxi Millz. He throws events called kinin tonights with really good DJs. Then Selassie TBC \u2014 he\u2019s pretty much always DJing somewhere cool.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your biggest extravagance? <\/p>\n

Diptyque candles and piercings at Maria Tash.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your London secret? <\/p>\n

There\u2019s a great hammam near Charing Cross called Aire. And then Cr\u00e8me Cookies but I don\u2019t know if that\u2019s a secret anymore. <\/p>\n

What are you up to at the moment for work?<\/p>\n

I just shot a campaign with Crocs. Then I\u2019ve been spending a lot of time working on new music and going to my grandma\u2019s house in Sweden and bringing creatives there to work. <\/p>\n

I love vintage T-shirts. I have a vintage Ozzy Osbourne T-shirt and if anyone took it from my wardrobe I would hunt them down. I have loads of fun old Batman ones too. <\/p>\n

Chris Martin. I\u2019ve been to every Coldplay show. It\u2019s just great pop music \u2014 great writing \u2014 and the shows are always big and epic.<\/p>\n
