Like ridin a bike! LFG!\u201d he wrote in the post\u2019s caption.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tA former WWE star, Bautista has slimmed down from the powerhouse physique he was famed for during his wrestling days. For recent film roles such as The Killer\u2019s Game, Trap House and The Wrecking Crew, Bautista looked muscular but notably slimmer than he did for his acting breakout role of Drax the Destroyer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But he now appears to be bulking up again for God of War.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tLast month, it was revealed that the Guardians of the Galaxy star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/dave-bautista-god-of-war-kratos-1236663324\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/dave-bautista-god-of-war-kratos-1236663324\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">would be replacing Ryan Hurst<\/a> in the show\u2019s lead role after the latter tore a bicep while performing a stunt on set.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tTaking on the role of Kratos, Bautista joins castmembers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/prime-video-god-of-war-series-callum-vinson-1236500508\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Callum Vinson<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/mandy-patinkin-odin-amazon-god-of-war-1236488758\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mandy Patinkin<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/ed-skrein-baldur-amazon-god-of-war-1236513726\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ed Skrein<\/a>, Max Parker, \u00d3lafur Darri \u00d3lafsson, Teresa Palmer, Alastair Duncan, Jeff Gulka and Danny Woodburn.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe series \u201cfollows father and son Kratos and Atreus as they embark on a journey to spread the ashes of their wife and mother, Faye. Through their adventures, Kratos tries to teach his son to be a better god, while Atreus tries to teach his father how to be a better human,\u201d according to the logline. The show will be mostly based on the franchise\u2019s two most recent installments, which introduced Atreus.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tGod of War, which sees Ronald D.
