I will quit. If they don\u2019t make a short squad, I will not stay,\u2019 Guardiola said after City\u2019s victory on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n \t\t \u2018It\u2019s impossible for my soul to put the players in the tribune and cannot play. Now it happened because we added four players\u2026 maybe three or four months we could not select eleven players, we didn\u2019t have defenders, it was so difficult. After people came back and next season it cannot be like that.<\/p>\n \u2018As a manager, I cannot be training 24 players and every time I select there has to be four, five, six staying in Manchester at home because they can\u2019t play.<\/p>\n \u2018This isn\u2019t going to happen. This is not going to happen \u2013 I said to the club I don\u2019t want that.<\/p>\n \u2018I do not want to have 24, 25, 26 players and when everybody\u2019s fit\u2026 if I have injuries, unlucky.<\/p>\n \u2018We have some players in the academy, we do it but we cannot sustain for the emotional, for the soul of the team, I couldn\u2019t create another connection between each other.<\/p>\n \u2018This season we lost it a little bit, but with the players like they know week by week [if] they stay at home. They have to be here to fight between them to play, there has to be the right number, if there are a lot of injuries\u2026 unlucky.
