Producers say that the price increase has been primarily driven by strong demand amid a reduction in the supply of these vegetables on the domestic market.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-265549 alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/1788676954_128_image-8.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"974\" height=\"361\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>At present, <strong>Ukrainian greenhouse enterprises are offering cucumbers at UAH 30-55\/kg ($0.67-1.23\/kg)<\/strong>, which is on average 20% higher than at the end of the previous working week.<\/p>\n<p>According to market participants, the upward price trend is being driven by several factors. First of all, it is a result of reduced supplies of open-field cucumbers from local farms.
