Welcome back from Parliament’s summer recess with the return of Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg.<\/p>\n

In the hot seat is Reform UK leader Nigel Farage<\/b>, who’s appearing after his party wrapped up its annual conference in Birmingham yesterday.<\/p>\n

The event was overshadowed by the departures of two senior Reform staffers, after undercover filming by Verbatim Investigations broadcast by Channel 4 News showed them talking about how to get money to the party from an American donor and asking a fake company to pay for polling.<\/p>\n

Former chief of staff Dan Jukes has denied wrongdoing and ex-head of policy James Orr says he will co-operate fully with an internal investigation. Reform UK claims to have “been the target of a hoax perpetuated by foreign funded climate change activists”.<\/p>\n

Farage denies Reform has broken any laws – and in an interview with Kuenssberg, he says: “I am not a compliance officer. I was in the middle of canvassing in the Clacton by-election. I turn up. I frankly wasn’t even listening.”<\/p>\n
