\"\"<\/a>SHEFFIELD travel to Ipswich on Monday (September 7, 7.30pm) knowing an away win would guarantee them a place in this year\u2019s ROWE Motor Oil Premiership play-offs.<\/p>\n

The Tigers currently sit five league points ahead of fifth placed King\u2019s Lynn who have just two regular fixtures remaining.<\/p>\n

It means if the South Yorkshire side could find a second away win of the season, they would secure a top four finish in the top-flight for a sixth straight season.<\/p>\n

Sheffield lead Ipswich by 12 following the R2 first leg at Owlerton in July – and holding onto the aggregate would virtually get the Tigers over the line due to their superior race points difference over King\u2019s Lynn, albeit not officially mathematically.<\/p>\n

Team boss Simon Stead said: \u201cWe know we\u2019re edging closer, but there\u2019s still work to be done.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe lads have all rallied together in recent things to really get things back on track and it would be nice if we could get the job done with two regular league fixtures to go on Monday.<\/p>\n

\u201cEarlier in the season when we went to Ipswich we were bitterly disappointed to come away empty handed on that occasion – we know we need better than that collectively this time around but the lads are in high spirits, they\u2019re feeling good about themselves so we\u2019ll be going there and giving it our best shot as always.\u201d<\/p>\n
