In tonight\u2019s Coronation Street<\/a>, the soap airs a special episode about Kit, whose world is turned upside down by a life-changing cancer diagnosis.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Debbie celebrates her birthday in the Rovers and has a heartbreaking request for Abi.<\/p>\n

1. Kit’s visitor leaves the flat\"kit<\/p>\n

After an intriguing cliffhanger<\/a> in the previous episode, someone sneaks out of the bedroom the next morning and lets themselves out of Kit\u2019s flat.<\/p>\n

Kit is sleeping on the sofa, and when he wakes up he looks guiltily at a photo of Sarah on his phone \u2013 feeling bad about what happened last night. Who did Kit have a romantic evening with?<\/p>\n

2. Kit gets devastating news\"kit<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

Kit gets a shock at the hospital, as he discovers that an assault victim has suddenly died in hospital before he got a chance to question them about the brutal attack.<\/p>\n

His day then gets even worse when he attends an appointment at hospital and the consultant confirms the life-changing news that he has stage three breast cancer<\/a> that has spread to his lymph nodes.<\/p>\n

3. Debbie celebrates her birthday\"debbie<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

It\u2019s Debbie\u2019s birthday, and she holds a joyous party at the Rovers for the whole community. With the celebrations in full swing, Kit arrives at the pub and grabs a drink, ignoring the diagnosis he has just received.<\/p>\n

Debbie makes a heartfelt speech in front of her loved ones, but when she pays an emotional tribute to her husband Ronnie, Kit gets overwhelmed and heads outside.<\/p>\n

4. Kit reveals his secret\"kit<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

Todd is concerned about Kit<\/a>, so follows him out to the backyard and asks if he is okay. Kit eventually blurts out the shocking news about his breast cancer.<\/p>\n

Kit makes Todd promise that he won\u2019t tell anyone about his illness and leaves the party \u2013 but another secret about Kit is then revealed to viewers\u2026<\/p>\n

5. Debbie makes a sad request\"debbie<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

After her emotional speech, Debbie finds Abi in the bathroom and explains to her that she has already written her own eulogy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Debbie asks Abi to record her reading her final goodbye when the time eventually comes, and Abi tearfully agrees to this request.<\/p>\n
