\n\tFresh from a historic appearance at the Venice Film Festival on Saturday night<\/a>, Liam and Noel Gallagher<\/a> jetted back to London just in time for Monday\u2019s U.K. premiere of Oasis<\/a>: Don\u2019t Look Back in Anger.<\/p>\n

\n\tPerhaps unsurprisingly, the music duo turned up fashionably late to the Cineworld theater in Leicester Square. Liam pumped his fist in the air with an arm wrapped around Noel, who could only smile at the fervent reaction around them.<\/p>\n

\n\tBy the time the rock legends arrived, the black carpet was empty, aside from the herd of photographers and screaming fans.<\/p>\n

\n\tWritten by Peaky Blinders\u00a0mastermind Steven Knight,\u00a0the two-hour movie on their globe-spanning reunion tour last year combines concert film, backstage documentary and an unusually intimate portrait of the Gallagher brothers\u2019 famously volatile relationship.<\/p>\n

\n\tDirectors Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace followed the duo across 12 concerts on three continents during the Live \u201925 tour, capturing previously unseen rehearsals, backstage and onstage footage.<\/p>\n

\n\tKnight, Southern, Lovelace and the producers joined the Gallaghers for a short introduction before the screening. Though they didn\u2019t speak \u2014\u00a0bar Liam\u2019s \u201cstory of my fucking life\u201d over a faulty microphone \u2014\u00a0the siblings had made quite the entrance.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI hope that people watch this and maybe think about someone they haven\u2019t spoken to for a while,\u201d said Knight, referring to the brothers\u2019 notorious feud that kept them out of contact for 15 years. \u201cIt\u2019s about the story of these two, the story of the band, but it\u2019s much more than that. And people who watch it\u2026 You can hear people getting emotional about it. [\u2026] It\u2019s an emotional film. It\u2019s meant to be emotional,\u201d he added. \u201cBe prepared, it\u2019s really good.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe event was teeming with an eclectic group of stars, from Fontaines D.C. frontman Grian Chatten and soccer player Jack Grealish, to TV presenter Vernon Kay and prolific film producer Andrew Macdonald. Also in attendance were Liam and Noel\u2019s children, including Lennon, Anais, Donovan, Sonny, Molly, and Gene, rooting for their rockstar fathers.<\/p>\n

\n\tDisney will give\u00a0Oasis: Don\u2019t Look Back in Anger<\/a>\u00a0a limited theatrical run, with the film opening in select Imax and U.S. cinemas on Sept. 11.
