5<\/p>\n Seconds before Eamonn Holmes fell off his chairCredit: GB NEWS 5<\/p>\n Charlie Rowley tried to continue the moment professionally but was left gobsmackedCredit: GB News 5<\/p>\n Eamonn Holmes appeared to take a tumble off screen leaving viewers shocked<\/p>\n Stunned co-host Ellie Costello<\/a> could be heard saying “oh my gosh” as an almighty crash happened in the background.<\/p>\n Then Eamonn’s voice is heard off-screen exclaiming: “I’m fine, fine, fine, carry on, carry on.”<\/p>\n Charlie looked stunned and could barely get his words out as he tried continue on in a professional manner.<\/p>\n However, GB News<\/a> footage showed him stuttering as his eyes continued to flick down to the floor in shock.<\/p>\n The early morning news programme then went to adverts just seconds later.<\/p>\n Eamonn is understood to be OK and addressed the fall when the show returned from an extended break.<\/p>\n After a lengthy six minute interval, the broadcaster returned to screens, joking “I’m alive” as he blamed the “wonky” wheels on his chair.<\/p>\n He said: “They’re very wonky wheels on chairs we’ve got\u00a0here, as a matter of fact we don’t really like the chairs\u00a0here.<\/p>\n “It was a shock for me because I had a fall two weeks ago in my bathroom that hospitalised me<\/a> and that hit me right in the back.”<\/p>\n Eamonn added: “That hit me again right in the back. Really really sore, really sore.”<\/p>\n Concerned tweets from viewers poured in after the shocking off screen moment.<\/p>\n One wrote: “What just happened to Eamonn Holmes<\/a> on @GBNEWS?<\/p>\n “Big crashing sound then straight to adverts. Hope all ok.”<\/p>\n Eamonn Holmes reveals big new job after going missing from breakfast show and theatre gig axe<\/p>\n Another said: “Sounded like Eamonn Holmes fell but hard to tell.”<\/p>\n A GB News representative said that everything was “fine” and that they would speak with Eamonn following the show.<\/p>\n It comes after Eamonn suffered a setback in his recovery after being rushed to hospital when taking a tumble at home two weeks ago.<\/p>\n The\u00a0broadcaster was left in lots of pain<\/a>\u00a0after\u00a0falling onto his bathroom floor<\/a> earlier this month.<\/p>\n A source previously told The Sun about the fall, saying: “Eamonn slipped in the bathroom last week and took a bad tumble.<\/p>\n “He was taken to hospital in a lot of pain and went through a series of tests.<\/p>\n “Fortunately, he didn’t suffer any broken bones and is now on the mend.<\/p>\n “He was very lucky.”<\/p>\n The TV star – who is often seen out in a\u00a0wheelchair<\/a>\u00a0or on crutches – has struggled with his mobility for the last few years<\/a> as he battles intense back pain.<\/p>\n His chronic condition began unexpectedly in 2021<\/a> and soon he was unable to walk without a stick to help him.<\/p>\n The pain was caused by a\u00a0dislocated pelvis<\/a>, which later resulted in him sustaining three slipped disks.<\/p>\n While recovering from surgery, he\u00a0fell down the stairs at his home<\/a>\u00a0in Weybridge and broke his shoulder<\/a>.<\/p>\n A further spine and neck procedure<\/a> in 2023 did little to alleviate Eamonn’s pain.<\/p>\n He has admitted the pain has led to him having countless “sleepless nights” and caused rows with his estranged wife\u00a0Ruth Langsford<\/a>\u00a0over how much medication he relies on taking.<\/p>\n![\"Two](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/eamonna.jpg\")
