Both Poppies and Crunch started life in Spitalfields before finding homes in Soho<\/a>, and on Monday 14th September they\u2019re finally joining forces. Poppies has been frying fish since founder Pat \u2018Pop\u2019 Newland first opened up, and Crunch has spent the last few years becoming the viral sandwich<\/a> shop everyone\u2019s queuing for. Together they\u2019ve made The Poppies Crunch, your new favourite sandwich.<\/p>\n

Haddock fillet in Poppies\u2019 signature batter goes inside Crunch\u2019s signature toasted bread, with tartare sauce, minted mushy peas, pickled onion, lemon and a scatter of batter scraps (which as any northerner knows are the best bit of the fish supper). It goes on general sale at Poppies Soho for a month from launch day, \u00a314 without chips or \u00a316 with, dine-in or takeaway.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But before it hits general sale, LOTI Insiders are not only the first people to try it, they also get it absolutely free. There are sixty tickets up for grabs, each one enabling you to bring a mate to tuck in with you. Each ticket will deliver two Poppies Crunch sandwiches<\/a>, two portions of chips and two soft drinks, redeemed in an allocated one-hour slot on launch night. To score a ticket, you MUST be a paying insider member, and tickets go live here on 9th September at noon sharp. First come, first served, so don\u2019t hang about.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The small print: you\u2019ll need to be 18+, and you have to show up inside your allocated hour. Anything else you order on the visit is on you. No cash alternative, no swap for something else on the menu. It\u2019s the sandwich, or nothing. But we know you won\u2019t be disappointed!<\/p>\n
