On this page: Nintendo Direct September 2026 And Zelda: 40th Anniversary – Time, Date, How To Watch<\/a><\/p>\n What time do the Nintendo Directs take place?<\/strong><\/p>\n The Zelda: 40th Anniversary Direct will go live on Tuesday, 8th September 2026 at 3pm BST<\/strong>. After that, the general Nintendo Direct will follow on Wednesday, 9th September 2026 at 3pm BST<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s a look at a bunch of timezones along with your local time. Keep in mind that these specific times can be applied to both Directs on the 8th and 9th September:<\/p>\n Where can I watch the Nintendo Directs?<\/strong><\/p>\n Both broadcasts can be watched on Nintendo\u2019s official YouTube channel. In fact, the company has already provided links to the main Directs and the Treehouse presentation:<\/p>\n Of course, we\u2019ll also host the livestreams right here on Nintendo Life, so you can chat with your fellow community members whilst watching the magic unfold.<\/p>\n How long is each Nintendo Direct?<\/strong><\/p>\n Nintendo has confirmed the following runtimes for each Direct presentation and the Treehouse showcase:<\/p>\n What will be announced at the Nintendo Directs?<\/strong> Ah, the big question. With the Zelda: 40th Anniversary Direct, we have a vague idea of what will be shown. Ocarina of Time<\/a> for the Switch 2 is guaranteed, as indicated by a social media post<\/a> from Nintendo itself.<\/p>\n It also stated that we can expect to see initiatives for the 40th anniversary that are not related to games. So in other words, it\u2019s likely a trailer for The Legend of Zelda<\/strong> movie will be shown along with some Nintendo Museum shenanigans.<\/p>\n As for the general Direct, this one is a bit more uncertain. It\u2019s likely we\u2019ll see new trailers for Fire Emblem: Fortune\u2019s Weave<\/a>, Nintendo Switch Sports Resort<\/a>, and Xenoblade Genesis<\/a>, but we\u2019re also expecting a bunch of brand-new announcements.<\/p>\n Recent rumours<\/a> indicate that several titles are in development for 2027, and they\u2019re all pretty enticing to say the least.
