Three men have been arrested after a triple stabbing on a busy London<\/a> high street.<\/p>\n Police and paramedics were called to the A3 Clapham High Street, at the junction with Bedford Road, not long after 9pm on Thursday.<\/p>\n One man was found injured at the scene, and he was taken to a major trauma centre.<\/p>\n Two more men later went to hospital, and their injuries have been described as non-life threatening or life-changing.<\/p>\n All three men have now been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.<\/p>\n An employee at a takeaway on Clapham High Street, who didn\u2019t want to be named, described the incident as \u2018quite shocking and quite surprising\u2019.<\/p>\n \t\t He told Metro<\/strong>: \u2018We hadn\u2019t heard about the incident until the police came this morning to ask us for our CCTV, but our cameras aren\u2019t working.\u2019<\/p>\n The high street was cordoned off by police well into the morning, impacting rush hour traffic and local buses, but the cordon has since been lifted.<\/p>\n A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: \u2018On Thursday, April 10 police were called to Clapham High Street following reports of a stabbing.<\/p>\n \u2018Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated one man on scene for stab wounds before taking him to hospital.<\/p>\n \u2018Two further men self-presented at hospital. Their injuries have been confirmed as non-life threatening or life-changing.<\/p>\n \u2018They have all been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The investigation is ongoing.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t\t\tLatest London news\t\t\t<\/p>\n To get the latest news from the capital visit Metro’s<\/strong> London news hub<\/a>.<\/p>\n \t\t A London Ambulance Service spokesperson added: \u2018We were called at 9.09pm on Thursday to reports of a stabbing at the junction of Clapham High Street and Bedford Road, SW4.<\/p>\n \u2018We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer. <\/p>\n \u2018We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London\u2019s Air Ambulance. Our first paramedic arrived in four minutes.<\/p>\n \u2018We treated a man at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.\u2019<\/p>\n The Met asks anyone who saw what happened or might have footage of the incident to get in touch.<\/p>\n Got a story?
