Wolves are at risk of losing more than just Matheus Cunha in the summer transfer window. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Vitor Pereira has made his transfer preference clear<\/a>, as the Wolves manager<\/a> stressed the importance of avoiding yet another mass exodus.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Old Gold have lost key players in consecutive windows, and it\u2019s not something that Pereira<\/a> believes the club can afford to do once again.\u00a0<\/p>\n

That being said, it still looks likely that the squad will be altered due to departures, as Cunha\u2019s transfer to Manchester United<\/a> edges closer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for Pereira, the Brazilian is not the only one generating interest. <\/p>\n

Pereira was coy when discussing Cunha\u2019s future<\/a>, but the boss has more to worry about than just the forward.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It\u2019s understood that Rayan Ait-Nouri is wanted by Manchester City<\/a>, two moves that could see Wolves<\/a> lose two players who have contributed to 60% of the Old Gold\u2019s Premier League goals this season.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Though the first-team duo are stealing the headlines, it\u2019s now become clear that Pereira is at risk of losing yet another player.<\/p>\n

Speaking on Voetbal International\u2019s Dick Voormekaar Podcast<\/a>, Dutch journalist Martijn Krabbendam shared an update on Feyenoord\u2019s plans for Hugo Bueno<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There were concerns when Bueno left Wolves on loan<\/a>, but the left-back\u2019s development over the season has been encouraging, however, it could now land the Old Gold in hot water.\u00a0<\/p>\n

That\u2019s because Robin van Persie is eager to keep Bueno<\/a> at Feyenoord, as Krabbendam explained ahead of the Spaniard\u2019s return to Molineux at the expiration of his loan.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s leaving now, but I think he\u2019ll come back,\u201d Krabbendam predicted. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re [Feyenoord] doing everything they can to rent him for another year or buy him.\u201d <\/p>\n

Feyenoord know one thing for certain, and that\u2019s that they want Bueno<\/a> to be a part of their plans, whether that be permanently or for another season on loan.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Krabbendam shared his understanding that the 22-year-old returning to Feyenoord is \u2018not seen as impossible\u2019 by the player\u2019s representatives.\u00a0<\/p>\n

To some, sending Bueno out on loan again would be wise, giving the player an extended time to develop, which could, in turn, bolster his value and readiness for the starting XI. <\/p>\n

There are, however, additional circumstances for Wolves to consider, one of which is Ait-Nouri\u2019s future<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Wolves wish to offer Ait-Nouri a new contract<\/a>, but outside interest in the Algerian could make things difficult.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ordinarily, Bueno, who has triumphed in the Champions League<\/a> this season, could be seen as a direct replacement for the left-back, but Feyenoord\u2019s transfer wishes throw a spanner in the works.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Wolves can\u2019t afford to let both of their left-backs leave in the summer, regardless of the capacity, unless, of course, Fosun are committed to a rebuild, which history will tell you is unlikely. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Wolves are at risk of losing more than just Matheus Cunha in the summer transfer window.
