Although the Blues did not disclose either the valuation of the agreement or length of the sponsorship, described as \u201clong-term,\u201d it\u2019s understood to be worth in the region of \u00a310million a year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">On top of that, Wolverhampton Wanderers\u2019 4-2 defeat at Selhurst Park on Tuesday night in what was a triumphant homecoming for <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/fa-cup\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">FA Cup<\/a> winners Crystal Palace after the south London side beat Manchester City 1-0 at Wembley on Saturday, confirmed that Everton will finish this season in 13th place in the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/barclays-premier-league\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Premier League<\/a> table. However, now, with just one final round of Premier League fixtures left to play, the Blues have a 20-point cushion between themselves and the bottom three.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Although this improvement has only seen them climb three places in the table given that they were 16th when Moyes, who steered them to nine top-eight finishes included a highest-ever Premier League position of fourth in 2004\/05, was reappointed, realistically they have finished as high as they could in what is a five-club \u2018mini league\u2019 of teams above the newly-promoted trio who have all gone straight back down to the Championship. Just finishing above Wolves gives the Blues an extra \u00a33.1million, showing that every place counts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Champions Liverpool will receive \u00a362.3million, while Everton\u2019s final opponents, the Magpies, know that there\u2019s as much as \u00a312.4million riding on beating the Blues as they currently sit fourth (\u00a352.9million) but could finish anywhere from third (\u00a356million prize money) to seventh (\u00a343.6million) depending on what they do plus results elsewhere.
