Hollyoaks<\/a> spoilers follow for Wednesday\u2019s episode (21 May), which is available to watch now on streaming service Channel 4 and hasn\u2019t yet aired on TV.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hollyoaks has revealed one more unexpected Tommy Odenkirk twist<\/a>, as a shocking death is confirmed in the village.<\/p>\n

After Jez encouraged him to relapse on drugs, Joel found out through Leela that Tommy had lied about his brother\u2019s death \u2013 as Billy was still alive<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Enraged by Tommy\u2019s deception, Joel confronted him at the flat about his discovery \u2013 and he began violently attacking the fake therapist.<\/p>\n

Joel woke up the next morning in today\u2019s episode<\/a>, confused about what happened the previous night. But he soon spotted Tommy\u2019s body and realised that he was dead.<\/p>\n

Horrified Joel called Jez, who came round and discovered that he had killed Tommy. Secretly happy that his secrets will die with Tommy<\/a>, Jez encouraged Joel to cover up the murder.<\/p>\n

But Joel then got a visit from Marie and Leela, who decided to check on him following his relapse. Joel briefly tried to hide his actions, but his mum and wife soon found Tommy.<\/p>\n

They gathered that Joel was planning to dispose of the body, as Tommy was wrapped in a rug. Marie encouraged this cover-up, as she was desperate not to lose another son.<\/p>\n

But Leela was adamant that Joel should come clean and go to the police, and while he faced a devastating dilemma, he eventually chose to hand himself in.<\/p>\n

As Joel was arrested off-screen for Tommy\u2019s murder, Marie went to The Hutch and revealed her son\u2019s unexpected fate \u2013 leaving Cleo shocked and Jez panicked.<\/p>\n

DI Banks took Joel to a cell and asked him if he knew where Tommy\u2019s patient files were, as everything had been cleared out except for a thumb drive taped underneath his desk.<\/p>\n

Later, Banks looked at the contents of the thumb drive, and it was revealed that Tori \u2013 Dodger and Sienna\u2019s granddaughter<\/a> \u2013 had been seeing Tommy for therapy sessions.<\/p>\n

“My mum and dad aren\u2019t my real family,” she said on a recording. “My uncle Dennis was my real family, but he died.”<\/p>\n

As a woman\u2019s hand comforted Tori on the video, Banks rang his wife and berated her for taking the child to see Tommy. He feared that her identity would be revealed following Tommy\u2019s murder, but just who is the elusive Mrs Banks?<\/p>\n

Hollyoaks<\/strong> airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming<\/a> premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.<\/strong><\/p>\n
