The \u201cForever\u201d singer also has to surrender his passport when not traveling for his upcoming Breezy Bowl XX Tour in North American and Europe, which is scheduled to kick off June 8.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAccording to the news agency, the singer \u2014 who has not yet entered a plea \u2014 was ordered to pay $5.4 million to start, with an additional $1.3 million due in seven days.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tBillboard has reached out to Brown\u2019s rep as well as tour promoter Live Nation for comment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe two-time Grammy winner was arrested on May 15 while at his hotel in Manchester for what officials told The Independent was \u201csuspicion of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/rb-hip-hop\/chris-brown-arrested-manchester-2023-nightclub-bottle-attack-1235972306\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">grievous bodily harm<\/a>\u201d tied to an alleged assault that happened at a nightclub in February 2023. According to Reuters, prosecutors claim that Brown is responsible for an \u201cunprovoked attack\u201d with a tequila bottle on music promoter Abraham Diaw.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe Associated Press also reported that a friend of Brown\u2019s and fellow musician Omololu Akinlolu \u2014 whose stage name is HoodyBaby \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/rb-hip-hop\/hoodybaby-charged-alleged-london-assault-chris-brown-1235974843\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">was also charged<\/a> Saturday (May 17) with causing grievous bodily harm with intent over the alleged attack on Diaw.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tBrown was initially <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/rb-hip-hop\/chris-brown-denied-bail-uk-2023-nightclub-attack-1235973863\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">denied bail<\/a> during a London court hearing on Friday (May 16). The judge at that hearing remanded the R&amp;B star into custody, with the singer at the time set to remain behind bars until his next hearing, which would have been June 13, a decision that put his tour \u2014 which will also feature Summer Walker and Bryson Tiller \u2014 in jeopardy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tHis next court date is set for June 20 at Southwark Crown Court in London.
