\n Who are the singer and band members of PRESIDENT?<\/p>\n

No one knows who the members of PRESIDENT are because they have kept themselves completely anonymous.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, some fans are speculating that PRESIDENT could be some kind of Sleep Token spin-off, since they share the same management company as the chart-topping metal outfit.<\/p>\n

Others are convinced that PRESIDENT’s singer is none other than Busted<\/a> star Charlie Simpson<\/a>, who has previously shown off his rock chops in the post-hardcore band Fightstar<\/a>. This theory rests on a possible vocal similarity between PRESIDENT’s singer and Charlie from Busted.<\/p>\n

PRESIDENT only follow four other bands on Facebook: Mogwai<\/a>, Deftones<\/a>, The Cure<\/a> and Underoath<\/a>. Some fans have suggested that PRESIDENT could share band members with one or several of these groups.<\/p>\n

PRESIDENT began building buzz in February when they launched their social media accounts and announced that they would be performing at this summer’s Download Festival .<\/p>\n

Rock and metal fans were immediately intrigued by the idea of a brand new, totally unknown band securing a slot at such a prestigious festival \u2013 and before they had even released a song.<\/p>\n

PRESIDENT continued to grow their following with further social media teasers before they dropped their debut single\u00a0In the Name of the Father on May 15.<\/p>\n

Expect interest in the band to keep on snowballing as their live debut approaches.<\/p>\n

When can I see PRESIDENT live?<\/p>\n

The band will host their ‘inaugural headline rally’ at London’s The Garage on July 30, with support from special guests Zetra.<\/p>\n
