{"id":120294,"date":"2025-05-21T16:57:10","date_gmt":"2025-05-21T16:57:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/120294\/"},"modified":"2025-05-21T16:57:10","modified_gmt":"2025-05-21T16:57:10","slug":"peaky-rb21-still-has-huge-potential-in-f1-title-fight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/120294\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cPeaky\u201d RB21 still has huge potential in F1 title fight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ex-Formula 1 driver <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorsport.com\/driver\/daniil-kvyat\/15918\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Daniil Kvyat<\/a> believes Red Bull still has a \u201cvery quick car\u201d that can take the fight to championship leaders <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorsport.com\/team\/mclaren\/10\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">McLaren<\/a> despite the early deficit.<\/p>\n<p>The Austrian squad is third in the standings, 148 points behind the leaders with only two victories compared to McLaren\u2019s five.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In many grands prix Red Bull has simply struggled to match McLaren\u2019s pace as, in Bahrain for example, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorsport.com\/driver\/max-verstappen\/17529\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Max Verstappen<\/a> aboard the leading RB21 was 34.3 seconds off winner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorsport.com\/driver\/oscar-piastri\/828689\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oscar Piastri<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But Kvyat is still confident that Red Bull can fight for the championship, believing \u201cthey are not far from McLaren when they put the car in the working window\u201d.
