Clarkson\u2019s Farm<\/a> star Kaleb Cooper<\/a> has been slammed by animal rights charity PETA, which sent him a harrowing gift for his contributions to the farming industry. Jeremy Clarkson\u2019s<\/a> right-hand man is set to speak to children about his daily life as a farmer at the upcoming Royal Bath and West Show on May 29th.<\/p>\n

It comes alongside the release of Prime Video<\/a> star Kaleb\u2019s new children\u2019s book Kaleb\u2019s Farmyard Tales, which follows on from his adult releases The World According to Kaleb, It\u2019s A Farming Thing and Britain According to Kaleb. But PETA has slammed the star for contributing to an \u201cabusive\u201d industry.<\/p>\n

PETA exclusively let Express.co.uk know that the charity has sent an illustrated book aimed at adults to Cooper, which is drawn in \u201cpleasant pastels\u201d but \u201cfeatures the sounds of real animal screams and nursery rhymes describing the horrors that animals endure in the meat, egg and dairy industries.\u201d<\/p>\n

Its accompanying letter to Kaleb reads: \u201cThe Secret Lives of Animals is written in simple rhyme so everyone can understand that animals are not \u2018stock\u2019; they\u2019re individuals who value their lives just like we do.\u201d<\/p>\n

PETA\u2019s Dawn Carr, who is vice president of vegan corporate projects, added: \u201cChildren have a natural empathy for animals, and they deserve to know what really happens on farms, where kids just like them are torn away from their mothers, have their tails chopped off without pain relief and are killed at a fraction of their natural life expectancy.<\/p>\n

\u201cPETA encourages Kaleb Cooper to educate himself about animal rights and tell young audiences the truth about how animals suffer in the farming system.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not the first time Kaleb has faced challenges from vegans.
