Roy Keane aimed a dig at Arsenal after Tottenham beat Manchester United in the Europa League final and had his say on whether Spurs should sack Ange Postecoglou.<\/p>\n
Brennan Johnson<\/a><\/strong> scored the only goal of the game at the San Mames to end Spurs\u2019 17-year wait for a trophy and secure a spot in the Champions League next season.<\/p>\n Johnson\u2019s darting run into the six-yard box caught Shaw on his heels at the end of the first half as he attempted to divert Pape Matar Sarr\u2019s cross in, with the ball rebounding off Shaw and past Andre Onana.<\/p>\n Postecoglou\u2019s side have endured a miserable domestic campaign, with an incredible 21 defeats in 37 games meaning they\u2019re currently 17th in the Premier League with just one game to play<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n The fans won\u2019t care about that right now and will be delighted to hear Manchester United legend Keane aiming a dig at Arsenal while claiming \u201cthey certainly were not Spursy\u201d on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n \u201cSpurs have won more than Arsenal this season,\u201d Keane<\/a><\/strong> said on CBS Sports. \u201cWhen you think of the clubs out there, Spurs get criticised as much as anyone.<\/p>\n \u201cThey certainly were not Spursy. They defended really well, their attacking play wasn\u2019t great but it doesn\u2019t really matter.<\/p>\n \u201cFor all the critics over the past few years, we\u2019ve said they\u2019ve got a lovely stadium but it\u2019s all about winning trophies.<\/p>\n \u201cNow they can get their hands on that trophy tonight and really enjoy it.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen the players come back for pre-season they knew they\u2019re in the Champions League and the knock-on effect for the club is fantastic.\u201d<\/p>\n Ahead of the game, both Keane and fellow pundit Jamie Carragher claimed Postecoglou would be sacked by Tottenham no matter the result.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ll be very surprised, no matter what the result is tonight\u2026 well, not surprised, I don\u2019t think he\u2019ll be Tottenham manager [next season],\u201d Carragher said.. \u201cBasically he\u2019ll have two games left as the Tottenham manager, tonight and at the weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think so,\u201d Keane said when asked if he agreed with his fellow pundit. \u201cThe pressure he\u2019s been under \u2013 to lose 21 games, that\u2019s hard to take.<\/p>\n \u201cBut if he can win a trophy, you\u2019d think this is probably in a strange way a good time to leave, but of course if he loses I think the pressure will just be mounting on him.\u201d<\/p>\n MORE ON TOTTENHAM VICTORY OVER MAN UTD ON F365<\/strong> Carragher added:\u00a0\u201cI think he had a really good first season considering they lost arguably the greatest player in the history of the club in Harry Kane. Even yesterday, on the eve of a European final, he was still going at people and being on the front foot.<\/p>\n \u201cI haven\u2019t been a manager, and I know sometimes I\u2019d probably be like that with reporters, but it\u2019s every game.
