We&#8217;ve not had them on the program before.<\/p>\n<p>Dippers, the world\u2019s <strong>only aquatic songbirds<\/strong>, also frequent the estate whilst the woodcock incubate their eggs in the secluded wooded areas. The team also hopes to record the <strong>drumming of snipe <\/strong>which circle across the peatland bogs.<\/p>\n<p>Packham said he was particularly looking forward to seeing the estate since he had never visited before. We&#8217;ve not had them on the program before,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Nature trek<\/p>\n<p>The show will also feature Northern Ireland, with presenter Iolo Williams broadcasting from a three-week nature trek through some of the region\u2019s most diverse wildlife hotspots.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Belfast<\/strong> will be the star of the first week, with Williams showcasing the wildlife that calls the Northern Irish capital home, and local people keen to protect them.<\/p>\n<p>In the second week, Williams will travel to <strong>Rathlin Island<\/strong>, a biodiversity hotspot and Northern Ireland\u2019s most northerly point. <\/p>\n<p><a class=\"imagen \" href=\"https:\/\/www.yourweather.co.uk\/news\/trending\/international-mountain-day-celebrates-biodiversity-and-hiking-for-health.html\" title=\"International Mountain Day celebrates biodiversity and hiking for health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"low\" class=\"lazy img-body non-editable\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/international-mountain-day-celebrates-biodiversity-and-hiking-for-health-1702323992310_320.jpeg\"  width=\"320\" height=\"225\" alt=\"International Mountain Day celebrates biodiversity and hiking for health\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It is a vital breeding ground for a variety of seabirds and home to endemic species such as the <strong>golden hare<\/strong>. He will also hope to hear the call of the rare corncrake.<\/p>\n<p>In week 3, Williams will introduce viewers to some of the 10,000 species found on <strong>Mount Stewart.<\/strong> The area boasts diverse woodlands, ghost ponds, rough farmland fields, twisting hedgerows, and a tidal lough scattered with green islands.<\/p>\n<p>Springwatch Street<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the show has a new feature &#8211; Springwatch Street.
