Bo Derek, a Hollywood bombshell of over 40 years, returned to the red carpet for a rare public appearance beside her husband John Corbett<\/a> this week.<\/p>\n

The pair were attending a New York City<\/a> photo-call for season three of the Sex And The City spin-off And Just Like That<\/a>….<\/p>\n

Corbett has returned to the show as Carrie Bradshaw’s (Sarah Jessica Parker<\/a>)\u00a0ex Aidan, a recurring part he played on the original series,<\/a>\u00a0winning the hearts of fans.<\/p>\n

Aidan featured on season two of And Just Like That… as he and Carrie attempted to reignite their old relationship, only to end up going their separate ways again<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In spite of their latest breakup, however, Aidan reappears in the trailer for the new show, leaving a few embers of hope still glowing for their romance.<\/p>\n

Now Corbett, 64, is celebrating the premiere of the new season – and Derek, 68, who was with him for 18 years before they married in 2020, was by his side.<\/p>\n

Bo Derek, a Hollywood bombshell of over 40 years, returned to the red carpet for a rare public appearance beside her husband John Corbett this week<\/p>\n

For her latest public appearance, Derek exuded a youthful glow as she posed in a snappy monochrome trouser suit that accentuated her still willowy frame.<\/p>\n

Her snappy ensemble featured metallic studs around the edges of the jacket and down the sleeves and trouser legs, adding an extra splash of personality.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Corbett was the image of the silver fox with a salt-and-pepper beard, debonair black outfit and sleek orange sunglasses.<\/p>\n

Derek,\u00a0who rose to fame as a blonde bombshell in the 1979 sex comedy 10, married John in December 2020 after a romantic relationship of 18 years.<\/a><\/p>\n

Before she met her current beau she thought she would never find love again, having lost her husband John Derek to heart failure in 1998.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However she explained that when she met Corbett she felt ‘just an attraction, a comfort. He makes me laugh all the time. He\u2019s full of life, full of joy,’ via Fox News<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Although John Derek directed several of her films – including Tarzan, The Ape Man and Bolero – it was Blake Edwards who directed 10, which made her a star.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Amid a cast that included Edwards’ wife Julie Andrews as well as Dudley Moore, Bo made a splash while strutting her stuff across the beach in a swimsuit.<\/p>\n

‘It was one of those moments where a fairy godmother comes in, taps you on the forehead with her magic wand and changes everything,’ Bo reflected in 2020.<\/p>\n

‘People say I\u2019m an icon, whatever that means. I wouldn\u2019t call myself that. I don\u2019t take it personally. But I played a part that certainly became iconic for sure.’<\/p>\n

John Derek was 30 years Bo’s senior and became smitten with her when she was 16 years old acting in his film Fantasies in Greece.<\/p>\n

Although their movies together were not taken seriously, the couple lived in luxury at a ranch until his death at the age of 71.<\/p>\n

‘I\u2019ve always been a fairly optimistic person, but it was a huge change, an enormous loss. The air just gets sucked out of the room when you lose your partner. So I wallowed in that for a while,’ Bo told Fox News.<\/p>\n

‘I didn\u2019t expect to end up with anyone again. Some women want to pair up again right away. I didn\u2019t. I remember consciously fashioning myself after some girlfriends that I have [who] are single and led very full, fantastic lives with friends and family and projects that they do. And that gave them happiness.’<\/p>\n

Corbett told Today<\/a>\u00a0a few years ago that he met Derek after his agent friend Norby Walters fixed them up as Oscar party dates.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I\u2019m grateful for the life I was given. I feel very good about the decisions I\u2019ve made,’ said Derek to Fox News in 2020 looking back at her career.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘They weren\u2019t always the most successful business decisions as far as money in the bank, but I had a blast making films and having my career on my own terms. And that business has been very good to me.
