Manchester United failed to get across the line in the Europa League final on Wednesday night, being beaten 1-0 in the final by Tottenham.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was a European nightmare rather than a dream for Ruben Amorim<\/a>, who sees himself under more scrutiny than before the final.<\/p>\n

Amorim made several mistakes in the final defeat<\/a>, with Manchester United\u2019s<\/a> players also failing to do themselves proud with flat performances all around.<\/p>\n

Among the most disappointing was Bruno Fernandes<\/a>, who was far from his usual brilliant self. On MUTV after the game, pundit Sammy McIlroy admitted it was Fernandes\u2019 worst performance of the season<\/a>, and it very well may have been. <\/p>\n

Considering the 30-year-old is usually the standout player, Fernandes was poor in the final for United<\/a>, which left the Portuguese midfielder emotional and distraught afterwards.<\/p>\n

Now, his agent has shared a concerning message.<\/p>\n

After the defeat, Fernandes\u2019 agent, Miguel Ruben Pinho, took to Instagram<\/a> with a message to the United captain, which will raise speculation over his exit this summer.<\/p>\n

Posting on his story, he wrote: \u201cSometimes life is just unfair, you deserved more, you are an exceptional professional. Stay strong Bruno!\u201d<\/p>\n

This message has been taken by many fans as the agent suggesting Fernandes deserves more from United, has long been true. <\/p>\n

It would be a concern if the agent is suggesting doubts over his future, considering the record-breaking finances on offer from Al-Hilal for Fernandes<\/a>, which now is a move some might expect United to consider with the financial hit of not qualifying for the Champions League.<\/p>\n

Now, Fernandes has spoken out over a possible exit.<\/p>\n

After the final defeat, Fernandes has been talking with the press in Portugal, as quoted by Sky Sports, with his future a hot topic.<\/p>\n

Further, Fernandes was also quoted by Fabrizio Romano, saying that financial reasons are not playing a part in his decisions for the future, but rather, he wants to play in the best competitions and win trophies.<\/p>\n
