Prince William, Kate Middleton \u2018stronger\u2019 together despite \u2018exceptionally tough times\u2019<\/p>\n
Prince William and Kate Middleton\u2019s bond has gotten stronger by the day despite the \u201cexceptionally tough times\u201d that the couple have recently faced, an expert has revealed.<\/p>\n
According to royal expert Jennie Bond, the \u201csecret\u201d behind Prince and Princess of Wales\u2019 bond is the fact that they \u201ckind of grew up together\u201d while studying at University of St Andrews.<\/p>\n
Speaking with Closer Weekly, the expert shared that Kate, who recently revealed that she is now in remission following her battle with cancer, knew what she was getting into before marrying William, the future King of England. <\/p>\n
She revealed that their time together at the university played a huge role in Kate understanding what sort of life she will have once she exchanges vows with then-Prince Charles and late Princess Diana\u2019s first-born son. <\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019ve gone through some exceptionally tough times, particularly recently,\u201d the expert began of Kate and William, who exchanged vows on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London in a lavish wedding ceremony. \u201cBut I think that has made their marriage even stronger.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe see them out and about in public touching one another tenderly and sharing private jokes. They laugh a lot,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
On their days at the university, Bond noted, \u201cThey kind of grew up together at university \u2014 as all undergraduates do.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThey spent almost 10 years together before marrying,\u201d she added. \u201cI think it is that strong friendship and understanding that has kept them so united through thick and thin.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cShe understood that she was marrying into an institution and that her husband\u2019s destiny was mapped out before him \u2014 as hers would be too.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think after 24 years with William, most of it either as his girlfriend or wife, Catherine has accepted, and even embraced, her destiny.\u201d<\/p>\n
Referring to the Princess of Wales\u2019 cancer diagnosis that the \u201cbrutal\u201d year that followed, as noted by William, the expert said their biggest wish must be for their life to go on as it is.<\/p>\n
