A brand new security hall has been unveiled at Manchester Airport’s Terminal 2 ahead of the May half-term holidays.<\/p>\n
The fresh hall boasts ten new security lanes with equipment including scanners that mean passengers will not have to remove liquids from their bags.<\/p>\n
It comes as a milestone in the wider \u00a31.3bn transformation of the city’s air hub, which began in 2015. The airport said the opening of the hall is a ‘major step’ towards the full opening of the brand-new Terminal 2.<\/p>\n
