You may love a chippy on a Friday (or any day of the week for that matter) from your local chip shop<\/a>, but what if you could tuck into a chippy whilst you have a drink at the bar? We all know chips and a bev are a match made in heaven, especially on a night out, and now new dining spot, Trippy Chippy<\/strong>, is coming to YES<\/strong> in Manchester, meaning you can have both.<\/p>\n

The UK\u2019s first ever chip shop in a bar<\/strong> will be making its way to the independent live music venue<\/a> this May bank holiday and to celebrate the occasion they are giving away free chip cones<\/strong> on May 23 from 5pm to the first 100 people<\/strong> in attendance. But be quick \u2013 once they\u2019re gone, they\u2019re gone.<\/p>\n

Chip connoisseurs can rejoice as Trippy Chippy is set to level up the chip-shop classic with its twice cooked skin-on fries served in a cone<\/strong> with inventive house-made toppings. And the team promise to bring Manchester\u2019s first \u2018chippy trifle\u2019<\/strong> to the city as the cones are assembled with sauce and toppings layered up for a chip\/topping experience that lasts throughout the whole delicious chippy meal<\/strong>. Dry chips at the bottom of the cone \u2013 be gone!<\/p>\n

Choose from a selection of large or small chip cones<\/strong> with toppings including Trippy Chippy\u2019s signature paprika house seasoning<\/strong>, truffle mayo and parmesan cheese<\/strong> or curry ketchup<\/strong>. As well as cones, trippy trays<\/strong> are also available (all of which are gluten-free) and served with an array of delicious and dreamy toppings including gravy and cheddar<\/strong>; pancetta, sriracha mayo and Gran Moravia cheese<\/strong>; or a vegan option of rosemary salt, mushrooms, garlic aioli and crispy shallots<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Located on Charles Street in Manchester, YES is not just known for their eclectic and exciting live music line-ups but it is also home to Pepperoni Playboy who serve up tasty pizza slices and now Trippy Chippy has joined the fun. The Trippy Chippy menu will be available to order from May 23 and can be enjoyed on YES\u2019 roof terrace<\/strong>, at the \u2018secret\u2019 beer garden<\/strong>, or anywhere across the venue\u2019s four floors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
