One member of the Wolves squad has become the topic of conversation in Spain for a rather peculiar reason. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Reports from sources worldwide are emerging regarding possible targets and sales, with Fabio Silva being spoken about frequently in Spain<\/a>. <\/p>\n

While Silva\u2019s pending transfer from Wolves<\/a> is a hot topic for media outlets overseas, it\u2019s a different member of Vitor Pereira\u2019s<\/a> squad who is also making the headlines. <\/p>\n

Spanish outlet Marca<\/a> have been talking about Jorgen Strand Larsen<\/a>, who will complete a permanent transfer to Wolves from Celta Vigo in the summer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Wolves signed Strand Larsen on an initial loan<\/a>, giving the Norwegian the chance to prove himself in the Premier League, which is something he\u2019s done beyond expectation.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The reason for Marca\u2019s attention on the Wolves striker is due to Celta Vigo\u2019s former Strategic Advisor, Luis Campos, who signed the 25-year-old in 2022. <\/p>\n

Campos is said to have taken a \u2018big gamble\u2019 during his time at Celta by signing Strand Larsen from FC Groningen, with his transfer ranking in the top five of the club\u2019s biggest purchases. <\/p>\n

Marca\u2019s report focuses on how Campos was right about Strand Larsen, lauding the now-Paris Saint-Germain businessman for fulfilling his plan for the striker. <\/p>\n

\u201cMy goal is to find young talents around the world who can be sold in the future for much more money, so I can buy better players the following year, so I can build bigger teams,\u201d Campos said during his Celta tenure. <\/p>\n

With Wolves set to sign Strand Larsen for \u20ac15m more than he initially cost the Spanish club, Marca have celebrated that Campos stuck to his word to make Celta a hefty profit. <\/p>\n

Wolves could do the same with Strand Larsen<\/p>\n

One game of the 2024\/25 campaign remains, and Wolves certainly won\u2019t be overthinking their agreement to pay \u00a323m<\/a> for the Norway international\u2019s services.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If anything, the Old Gold will be feeling a similar way to Campos, who will be well aware that he triumphed with the purchase of the forward in 2022.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Strand Larsen has proven himself at Wolves<\/a>, being a record-breaker in his debut season for the number of non-penalty goals he\u2019s scored.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For a player arriving from abroad to take to the Premier League so naturally is a rarity, which must give Wolves some idea of possibly making a profit on the 25-year-old in the future. <\/p>\n
