Newcastle United star Jacob Murphy wants to play for England.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He is certainly deserving of a place in the next squad, with Thomas Tuchel due to announce his team for a World Cup qualifier against Andorra and a friendly against Senegal on Friday.<\/p>\n

Jacob Murphy<\/a> will hope to be included, alongside other Newcastle United<\/a> players such as Dan Burn and Anthony Gordon.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old has been in tremendous form in recent months, boasting nine goals and 14 assists in all competitions.<\/p>\n

Murphy has had an amazing season<\/a>, and receiving his first ever England call-up would be the icing on the cake.<\/p>\n

Ahead of Tuchel\u2019s next squad being announced, Murphy has spoken to the Athletic<\/a> about what he could bring to the Three Lions.<\/p>\n

The \u00a312million<\/a> attacker believes he is unique in many respects, as there are not many right-footed right wingers in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope England are casting an eye on what I\u2019m doing, because I feel my game would be appreciated in the setup,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a different profile to every other winger in the league. Other than me, Brennan Johnson is the only other right-footed right-winger and it brings a whole different dynamic.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s Harry Kane and Ollie Watkins and I\u2019d love nothing more than to be putting it in dangerous areas for them to get on the end of. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then off the ball, there are a lot of attributes I think would complement the team. I\u2019d love to showcase them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jacob Murphy set for competition at Newcastle United<\/p>\n

With regards to his club career, Murphy is getting ready to welcome more competition to Newcastle United.<\/p>\n

As it stands, he is the only out-and-out right winger at St James\u2019 Park. His place in the starting XI has been unchallenged since Miguel Almiron was sold in January.<\/p>\n

However, Newcastle United plan to address that this summer.<\/p>\n

The Magpies intend to sign a right-sided attacker, with Newcastle interested in Bryan Mbeumo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

His arrival would threaten Murphy\u2019s place in the starting lineup, but the man himself does not see it as that.<\/p>\n

Murphy wants competition at Newcastle United<\/a>, admitting to the Athletic: \u201cWhatever happens in the summer in terms of incomings, I see that as more competition. It will be someone I can work off, share the load with.\u201d<\/p>\n

It will be vital that Murphy does have someone to share the load with, as Newcastle are set to play more games next season.<\/p>\n

They will be back in Europe, having qualified for the Conference League after winning the Carabao Cup.<\/p>\n
