Bella Thorne<\/a> has claimed that Mickey Rourke<\/a> caused an injury to her pelvic bone when she was making a film with him, describing him as \u2018gross\u2019.<\/p>\n

This week, the 2025 series of Celebrity Big Brother<\/a> launched in the UK on ITV<\/a>, confirming that the Oscar-nominated actor was in the line-up<\/a> alongside Michael Fabricant, Patsy Palmer, Chris Hughes and Danny Beard.<\/p>\n

On the night of the live launch show, Rourke received backlash<\/a> for acting \u2018inappropriately\u2019<\/a> towards presenter AJ Odudu on stage, staring at her and grabbing her before entering the House.<\/p>\n

Shortly after the series started, the 72-year-old faced further criticism for homophobic comments<\/a> that he made against internet personality JoJo Siwa<\/a>, 21, which prompted a reaction from Thorne, 27, on social media.<\/p>\n

The actress shared a screenshot of an article on her Instagram Story with the headline: \u2018Rourke warned over \u2018homophobic\u2019 remarks to Siwa in Big Brother,\u2019 with the warning occurring days before Friday night\u2019s eviction, where Rourke is at risk of being sent home.<\/p>\n

She then posted a comment on top of the screenshot, which began: \u2018This f**king dude. GROSS. I had to work with this man.\u2019<\/p>\n

The Babysitter star recalled filming a scene \u2018where I\u2019m on my knees with my hands zip tied around my back\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018He\u2019s supposed to take a metal grinder to my knee cap and instead he used it on my genitals thru my jeans [sic]. Hitting them over and over again. I had bruises on my pelvic bone,\u2019 she wrote.<\/p>\n

\u2018Working with Mickey was one of the all time worst experiences of my life working as an actress.\u2019<\/p>\n

Thorne appeared to be referring to the 2020 film Girl, in which she starred as the titular character opposite Rourke, who played the Sheriff.<\/p>\n

In another comment posted on X, Thorne claimed that there were \u2018so many gross stories of things he made me go thru on that movie, including in his last scene to speed up and rev his engine so he could cover me completely in dirt [sic].\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018Idk I guess he thought it was funny to humiliate me in front of the entire crew. Having to go in his trailer absolutely alone because he refused to speak to the director or producers \u2013 so I had to convince him to show up and complete his job, as he shouted crazy demands that he wanted from the producers. In fact I had to beg. Alone. In his trailer. \ud83e\udd26,\u2019 she stated.<\/p>\n

\u2018Since the movie could not be finished without him. Everyone\u2019s work would\u2019ve just been lost and completely for nothing. I didn\u2019t wanna do it. I was uncomfortable, but I did what I was asked to do and what was best for the movie. Mickey should\u2019ve never put anybody in that movie in any of those positions that he did.\u2019<\/p>\n

Following Thorne\u2019s claims, Rourke\u2019s manager Kimberly Hines sent a statement to Metro denying that anything \u2018inappropriate\u2019 occurred during the film shoot.<\/p>\n

\u2018I was there as Mickey\u2019s manager and saw every encounter between Bella & Mickey. Bella was basically stoned the entire shoot and was a bigger diva than Mickey has ever been!\u2019 Hines alleged.<\/p>\n

\u2018The day of this \u201csupposed incident\u201d Bella invited Mickey back to her trailer after to hang out. Nothing inappropriate happened on set or off! As always, there are two sides to every story.\u2019<\/p>\n

Rourke received a wave of criticism from Celebrity Big Brother fans, as well as a formal warning in the House, when he made homophobic remarks towards Siwa on the ITV show.<\/p>\n

There were calls from viewers to remove the actor from the series immediately, although others defended him, claiming he deserved to stay in the competition.<\/p>\n

Tonight, three housemates are up for eviction \u2013 Rourke, Fabricant and Jack P Shepherd \u2013 and one of them will be sent home during the live portion of the episode.<\/p>\n

Coral bookmakers currently claim that Tory politician Fabricant is the most likely to be voted out with 1-4 odds, while Coronation Street star Shepherd has 7-2 odds of leaving, and Rourke\u2019s odds sit at 9-1.<\/p>\n

Metro has contacted representatives of Mickey Rourke and Bella Thorne for comment.<\/p>\n
